Many known guests made us the pleasure to come on the Alkemy booth to perform some sculpting and painting demonstrations:
Mike and Allison (and baby) McVey, Jacques Alexandre Gillois, Romain Van Den Bogaert.
A large number of people from the Kraken staff where at this event: Painter,s beta testers, demonstrators and even the tentacles of the Kraken Itself.
Here are a few of them, from left to right and top to bottom:
- Allan and Jérémie in artistic discussions
- Jörn: "So here, at the end of my little finger, is a jin marker"
- Joss, rules and background writer, invoking the power of some unworldly power
- Manu, our head graphics wiz
- Kris, who is in charge of Galleon, the association in charge of organized gaming
- Valérie and Thom, the Khaliman and the internet marketing manager
- Viktor, happy avalonian and webmaster
- Vincent, managing the presales
- Stéphane, one of the beta testers
Here is the making of of the make up of the Khaliman costume of Valérie. The make up itself took about two hours each day.
Now Viktor's make up, who whas impersonating Garlan. Much quicker to do, but a little bit heavier to carry the rest of the day... It also proves that Allan can also manage armors for a 1:1 scale miniature.
Here are the finished costumes. A rumour runs around that in the Real life, the Jaraya warrior and Garlan are a couple... They will have very weird children.
With three gaming tables, we were able to perform a great many demonstrations during the week end. Here are some pictures of these demonstrations.
The fair allowed us to present our two new studio gaming tables, namely the Jade and Avalonian tables.
Here are various pictures from our booth, that were taken during these three days. You will find there:
