Question ( Close Combat - Skills ) A miniature A without the skill "long reach" is attacked by a miniature B with this skill, but is not in base to base contact. Is A allowed to play any cc? Answer Yes, A may play (at the usual cost) the inactive or parry CC. If it uses parry it does not profit from the special rule and so is not able to strike it's oponment since he is not in base to base contact. FAQ added the 13/07/08

Question ( Alchemy - Avalon ) For the formula "prayer to the stones", it is indicated that "The priest and all friendly Avalonian miniatures within this area become Tough(1)". If a miniatures leaves the area, does it keep the Tough skill hence acquired ? Answer No. Only the miniatures within the Area benefit from the skill. If a miniature is not in the area after having moved or becauses the priest moved, it looses the skill. FAQ added the 09/06/08

Question ( Close Combat - Skills ) Theoretically, a miniature can use as many times as she wishes the "Inactive" card. If both players play the inactive card, this can last forever. Answer If both miniature use the "Inactive" Combat Card, the active miniature loses its activation. This does not apply to the "feint" skill. FAQ added the 19/03/08

Question ( Shooting - Close Combat ) It is not stated anywhere in the rules that a miniature in close combat is not allowed to make a ranged attack ... Is it allowed to make a ranged attack while being in close combat ? Answer No. Any miniature in close combat or within the Long Reach area of an enemy minature is not allowed to make ranged attacks. - It successfully charged during its activation
- It engaged a shooter using its recation movement
- It was charged by an enemy miniature

Question ( Khalimans - Skills ) Clarification of the "Pacifist" skill of the KhabirCheikh Hakim Answer The doubling of the points is only applied to offensive actions, meaning targetting an enemy miniature of the miniature making the action. (for example if the countryside priest is within range of the kabircheikh, he will not double the APs for the "prayer to the stones" formula, since it does not target an enemy miniature).
