The Empire of the Jade Triad is a mixture of medieval China, martial arts schools and fantasy.

Based on a historical foundation, we had to integrate these elements without relying too heavily on that influence. The association with the Alchemical Air component had to be present everywhere in the concepts of this nation - shimmering colors, flowing movements, detailed clothes and weapons that wouldn’t hide the darkness of the first humans inhabitants of Mornea.

The result was a delicate ambiguity that was very pleasant for the concept artists to work on.
