e write the 1370th cycle on the World of Mornea. She created it long ago, She who is the source of all that is. She once left this world to her four children, the four architects. They populated and enriched this world for Her with the four species that would inhabit it.

Khalim gave birth to a catlike race that built the Khaliman Republic. Naash created reptilian beings that founded the Naashti colonies. Aurlokan conceived a coarse and mystical race that became the Aurlok Nation. Orhöm shaped the men, who developed the Empire of the Jade Triad.

Time passed by and the civilisations grew. Some, like the Naashtis, disappeared while others prospered, like the Kingdom of Avalon who proclaimed his independency from the Jade Triad.

But its inhabitants are not the only distinctive features of Mornea. This world is also the place where the precious Alchemical stones are buried. Even if the relations between its inhabitants are usually courteous, all of them covet these fabled minerals, whose veins have been marked through the use of Jin Posts by the Jade Triad. In the shadows, the inhabitants of Mornea conspire, fight and negotiate to gain the control of these resources. Even though they allow performing extraordinary deeds, their power lies elsewhere: They create such greed that even the most righteous and virtuous spirits can be corrupted and blighted by it.
Those who have no stones live in fear of their neighbours who have some and all will try to acquire some, always more and whatever the means.

We write the 1370th cycle and today more than ever, the alchemical stones represent the main stake of Mornea. A stake such that it gave birth to sensible commerce, wise negotiations, wicked secrets but also fierce fights in the shadows of the Jin Posts.

Such is the price of Alchemy!

The Avalonians live in a rigid feudal society; a society in constant turmoil due to internal warfare between the seven Barons and the central authorities of Avalon.
The forces of Avalon are focused on their powerful characters and the numerous Avalonian recruits and core troopers.

The humans of the Empire of the Jade Triad are the oldest nation of Mornea. Their long history has allowed them to discover and refine many key principles; both martial and scientific. One of these discoveries drastically changed the world: Alchemy.

The Aurloks are the people of Mornea most in harmony with nature and their environment.
Each Aurlok is born under the patronage of a totem spirit called a Manitou.  Their physical and mental development is linked to and guided by their Manitou. The specifics of this development allows them to specialize themselves for a particular role in society.

The principles of honour, loyalty and justice are the core concepts that define a  khaliman. They are a proud and sophisticated people. For them any activity, including combat, can be refined into an art form. And the Khaliman are very... accomplished artists.
